How To Check For Safari Updates On Mac
Use Software Update to find and install updates for macOS, built-in apps like Safari, and apps downloaded from the App Store. Use Software Update Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu, then click Software Update to check for updates. Older versions of OS X don't get the newest fixes from Apple. That's just the way software works. If the old version of OS X you're running doesn't get important updates to Safari anymore, you're going to have to update to a newer version of OS X first. How far you choose to upgrade your Mac is entirely up to you. The first step to updating your Safari browser is checking if your Mac actually has any available system updates. If you have macOS Mojave or later, upgrades will come via your System Preferences.
