I was born and raised in Scottsdale, AZ and I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where I received a BA in Songwriting. I started playing the guitar my freshman year of high school and from that point I haven’t put it down, though I have picked up some other instruments along the way!. I was initially (and still) inspired by Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and Pete Townshend and my obsessions with these artists led me down many different musical paths like blues, classical, folk, and pop. Eventually I found the music of Hank Williams and that was where my love of country music really began and what inspired me to start singing and playing. Needless to say my tastes have come a long way from those early days, but the bottom line is still that I still love music. From that passion, I want to understand where the sounds, that effect me on an emotional level come from and, in turn, incorporate them into my own musical vocabulary. I strive to be authentic in my musical endeavors, knowing that without sincerity in my actions, whatever I try to accomplish, will never be special. My goal is to give everything I have into each and every aspect of my musicianship and as long as I continue working toward that goal, I’m confident my music will speak for itself.
